Whose Eye Is It?

From the lost season 6 teaser we get to see only one life form - a human eye. So whose eye is this?

and here is a screencap of jack's eye taken from Lost Missing Pieces episode 13 - So it begins!

So whose eye is it? Are they the same? I have a feeling its not Jack's (even after seeing the comparison on Dark's blog) because if it is Jack... it becomes a little predictable and predictability is definitely not the essence of Lost... that too after seeing season 5 finale!

Update:

Ben's

Julie's

Kate's

Locke's

  1. its Jack's eye from the pilot episode.....the bomb didnt work

  2. I believe it is Jack's eye.I think that the first scene is going to show the first scene of season 1 to show us that it really worked(Hydrogen bomb).

  3. uhm, i also think it really looks like jack`s eye. why should this give the impression of being predictable???

  4. It's Jacobs eye.

    remember from the cabin?

  5. It's Jacobs eye guys.

Remember from the cabin? Check out lostpedia to see it.

    I reckon he' comes back!

  6. It's Jack's eye. If you zoom in on the season 1 version, everything except the colors are the same. Even the position of they eye lashes are exactly the same. There is also a freckle under the eye in the same place on both.

  7. Its Jack's eye. The light reflecting in both pics appear to be identical.

  8. I think it's Jacob's eye. The final season will be seen through his omniscient eye.

  9. It is Jack's Eye...

  10. don't you see people? it's Ben's eye! besides look at the yellowish color of his skin and the reddish eyelids xD... and not to mention the classic please-not-me, afraid look the he always does

and it can't be Juliet's because she's got blue eyes, it really seems to be a man's eye..

    ReplyDelete
  11. Its Elizabeth Mitchell's eye (Juliet)

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think it's ben.. just look at that look! it's ben's terrified look... besides look at the eyelids and the yellowish skin..
And it can't be Juliet's, since she's got blue eyes..

  13. Anybody consider that it might be Claire's eye? Jack/Juliet would be too predictable wouldn't it?

  14. it's a screen cap of jack's from season 1 pilot episode. First shot in the episode.

  15. omg you can see a slowking in the eye

  16. In my humble opinion... I do think that it is Jack's eye. I mean, out of all the guessing, and simply throwing out and trying to find out who it is, we must think a little about the old plot story.

So, the Losties all thought that the incident that made his plane crash was the one from the Hatch. But I have another theory. In the beggining of episode 16, we got to know that Jacob was always calling people to the island to prove something to the man in the black shirt(That is the smoke monster). What if The Incident did not exist at all to make the plane crash? Jacob was really interested in bringing the Oceanic 6 back to the Island. My guess is that Jacob made the Losties plane crash, and killed everyone that didn't matter. So, if Juliet managed to blow up the bomb, they simply died in the past, and that's it. Now that we know this, the eye should be Jack's, because that's the regular story, with the plane crash. It's all gonna happen again, on loop, they will not ever manage to get out of it.

But this is just my guess. As you know, the Lost story is not really that predictable :)

  17. It's the exact same photo of Jack's eye. The reflected light in the eye is EXACTLY the same in the two photos. It looks like there may be some photoshopping in the skin. I can tell by the pixels and having done some shopping in my time.

    ReplyDelete
  18. In my opinion it most closely resembles Ben's eye, it came out out at me as soon as I saw it. Indeed right before he stabbed JAcob, Jacob began saying 'who you are' to Jacob. Also his conversion to the others and the mystery surrounding what happened in the temple when Kate and Sawyer took him (young Ben) to the Others to heal him after Sayed shot him. All this indicates that Ben might likely be a good candidate for the eye and as such he will have a big part to play in season six. Also the shape of the eye socket is more similar to Ben than it is to Jack. Hope this spices up the speculation guys.

  19. is absolutely jack eyes, i'm italian, so sorry if my english is not to good.
    I'll explain you why!

is exactly the same eye of Missing Pieces episode 13. Is just zoomed and colored.
Don't you see the reflect of the light in the same? and if you have a good sight you can see even the lashes are the same.
is 100% jack and 100% the same screencap just colored and zoomed!!

  20. The eyelash pattern is identical... The relation of the lid fold to the socket and nose is identical...

Will the people who fail to recognize the eye as Jack's please return in 2010 to explain themselves?

    ReplyDelete
  21. how can anyone not notice that it is obviously Jack's eye. look at the shape of it, the color, the shape of the eyelids, but most importantly look at the reflection on both eyes, they are the same. if you think this is someone else's eye than your either stupid or need glasses and cant even see your own eyes. what i wanna know is what it is that can be seen through the letters on the season 6 teaser trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  22. you guys are rediculous. of COURSE it's jack's eye. IT IS SO OBVIOUS. LOOK AT THE EYE LASHES. LOOK AT THE REFLECTION. LOOK AT THE SHAPE. Not only is it his eye, it's the same CLIP of footage, just color enhanced and closer-up.

It took me about 15 seconds to figure that out.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just imagine for a moment that you have never seen the pilot episode... or for that matter the missing pieces episode... if you were to see this clip for the first time... then whose eyes does it look like?

    ReplyDelete
  24. this is definitely jack's eye, if yu look closely the eye is reflecting the trees.i think its going to loop back to when jack was lying inside the forest right after the crash.

    ReplyDelete
  25. yes, it's Jacks eye. Perhaps he will be in the same spot after the crash as in the pilot, but this time he has all this knowledge and they will all react differently to fight the war between good and evil.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's Jack's eye. I superimposed one over the other and it's exact. If I knew where to upload it here, I would...

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't care about plot or whatnot, just look closely, people. It is Jack, plain as day.

    ReplyDelete
  28. hey iamb, i like that theory xD.. starting again sounds creepy and just leaves us to think that the bomb didn't work!

they're trapped into jacob and his buddy's game.. maybe they can't get out of this! unless they change the fact that Jacob gave something to all of them, meaning that they're in kinda debt..

    ============= ULTIMATE TRUTH!!!!==============
    ==============================================

If you remember from the first seasons, where Jack and Lock fight to stay lucid about the meaning of the button, they fight!!

    So Jacobs and the "non-Lock"
Jack is the loophole of Jacob.
Lock is the loophole of "non-Lock".

Because both have fight trough the all series.
When Lock show the tow pieces of the backgammon, in the Pilot episode, they show that he will be part of a game, and as you see, he grab the black piece by the right and, meaning that he will be "fighting" in the dark side, that means that Jack is the white piece!

In the final episode of Season 5, Jacob and the Other man, answer to the question, what are the losties doing in the island?

They are part of a experiment form the both mans! And they are trying to change things in that happen in the island.
They want to be gods, changing things that they already know that will happen.
They want to give people freewill, and try to break the course of nature.

About the eye, defently is Jack eye!
And he will awake in the same place as in season 5 in the episode 13 - "So it begins!".
but... in the same year as "non-Lock".

"They" is referring to gods that are in the outside with Rychard, that come with the body of Jonh Lock.

  33. this is Jack's eye. this image used for the teaser is exactly the same from season 1. just try to see the reflex of the trees in the eye. they are equal. don't be dumb and try to create false theories about lost... it's useless. let's just wait to see...

  34. ITS JACK'S EYE, THE REFLECTION IN THE EYE MATCHES PERFECTLY IN BOTH PICTURES!

  35. This debate is hilarious.

Its definately Jack's eye; in the picture i have compared both pictures, the one on the right is from the pilot episode, and the one on the left is from the season 6 promo.
Under each of the eyes there is a small freckle, on both. It couldn't be anyone else because, no one would have the same freckle in the same place.
Another thing, both of the eye colours and the reflections are nearly identical, and also the clip of the eye, the eye is in the same exact place in both pictures.
One last thing, along the left side of both eyes, there is a kinda of brown mark going down the side of his eye, and this is identical in both pictures.

  37. You can not go by eye color... the color of almost everyone's eyes has changed throughout the series

    ReplyDelete
  38. You can actually see the cameraman in the reflection. :-p

  39. it's jack's eye - anyone seen the missing pieces on abc, "so it begins"?

    ReplyDelete
  40. it's not Jack at all... that's Desmond's eye man!!! DESMOND'S!!!!
It's exactly how the 2nd season began ("Man of Science, Man of Faith"), remember?? when they first showed the inside of the hatch???

    ReplyDelete
  41. Man, all of you are DEAD wrong. It's Hurley's eye! Hurley is Jacob's enemy.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's Jack's eye you can see how the tree's can be reflected on his eye just like in the first episode of lost when he wake up in the jungle. i belive season 6 will start right from the begining.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It is Ben's eye because the facial features around the eye are the same as Ban.

  44. I'd say it's Jack's. I know that's a bit kind of cliche'd (have I spelt that right?) since that shot has been done before, but I just think that that is the one it looks closest to.
    Lost Season 6

    ReplyDelete
  45. Didn't the producers say that season 6 would start exactly like season 1? With Jack waking up in the middle of the jungle? I thought I heard it somewhere.. :S
    My vote is Jack!

    ReplyDelete
  46. nina way up there is right
the reflection of jacks eye is identical to the mystery eye
but it doesnt hav to b jack....
    it could be someone else
it could be someone else in jacks place after the crash because the bomb worked but everything got screwed up...
but if im wrong im gonna go with juliet
but keep wut i said in mind

  48. ITs Charlotts eye their showing what happened to her adult body afte the flash

    ReplyDelete
  49. It was easy to figure out guys. It IS Jack's eye, and here is how I know. I took the eye in question and teh pic of Jack's eye, opened them up separately in Photoshop, gave Jack's eye a 50% opacity and overlayed it on the eye in question. Perfect fit! So there you have it

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm just throwing it out there that it could be the eye that Locke (real Locke) sees from Jacob's cabin (which is most likely not Jacob's but is in fact the "unnamed man.")

I also think the bomb worked for several reasons. Firstly, the first show of the new season is called "LA X" which should be a dead give away. Secondly, all of the old characters are back, which either means that they have been saved through the alternate reality, or they are manifestations through the smoke monster (or the unnamed man, whichever theory you believe.) And consider that it has been said that Sawyer in the new season is back to his old self, which seems to me like a clue.

In any event, we will know soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The italian dude is right. If you look at the reflection on the light, it is the same eye, the same picture, the same Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  52. this is the screenshot for them who still thinks that this eye isnt Jack's or so...

Look carefully on this screenshot http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/5606/123333333333333.jpg we see video from this site linked youtube player on lost 6 teaser and lost season 1 episode 1 <00:16sec> video played on gom player, dont u think that they are similar? no they are absloutely similar. its jacks eye from ep 1. look carefully on eyeshades (eyeshades from jungle) and eyelashes, they are same.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think it's Jack's eye, but I have a prediction for season 6. In season 5, Daniel says to Desmond that he is an exception, that the rules don't apply to him. So maybe nobody will remember but Desmond will.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Everybody is looking at the eye is this picture. That's what they WANT you to look at. if you look at the bridge of the nose it is definitely masculine, so that rules out kate and juliette. The bridge looks more like jacks, as does the sliver of eyebrow. My prediction: The 1st episode of the 6th season is called LAX so the bomb obviously worked. i beleive that it will be a close up of jacks eye as in the pilot, but he will be on the airplane, flying smoothly to L.A.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I told you guys, I superimposed the eye over jack's. It's his eye. Perfect fit.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The eyes are the same eye. look at the reflections in the eye itself and then the light and darker spots on the skin match to a tee.

    its jacks eye.

    ReplyDelete
  57. it is none of their eyes it is a dead characters eye because the explotion is gonna bring all of them back to life non of the eyes match up exactly so it has to be peoples eyes dont change!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. It's Hugo's eye. Never thought that until seeing episode 612, "Everybody Loves Hugo" but it's the same eye.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Definitly it is not jack's eye from last episode, I just watched it.
